    Description

    Sterling silver table crumber with a swirl design on the handle and blade, and hand engraved on the handle end in script "HP", in the Gorham "Colonial" pattern patented in 1885.  The piece weighs 4.29 troy ounces, and measures 12 1/4 inches long and 2 3/4 inches across the blade.  Marked on the back with Gorham's trademark and "Sterling".  There are two tiny dark tarnish spots on the handle end, and tiny nicks and fine scratches overall, otherwise in fine antique condition (and a great scoop server for anything from tomatos to watermelon slices or sausage to burgers--or maybe 3 brownies at a time! -go figure).
